And no, I don't mean teaching kids how to use A.I. and what it does and all that stuff that would ACTUALLY be useful in this economy.

I mean actually utilizing A.I. to do stuff that could very well be made by the students themselves and could also harness and tap into their creative senses.

Just the other day, my literature teacher asked us to feed the description of a character to chatGPT and see what comes out. And if that's not the most stupid fucking thing you've ever heard I don't even know. I refused to use A.I. for such a dumb and simple fucking task and drew the character instead and I'm not putting down my classmates saying this but guess what? My depiction was the MOST accurate because of fucking course it was!

The A.I. slop that all the others had was missing key aspects or missing the overexaggerated aspects that characters in literature often have because A.I. does not work off of the literal input you give it but no one wants to even understand how these dumb robots remotely work!

Am I going crazy? Is this not the most stupid shit? You don't even gotta be good at art to make a silly little drawing of what YOU think the character looks like because that is the FUCKING POINT OF IT ALL.

Are we going to ask chatGPT what our opinion is on a piece of poetry we just read?? Are we going to have the Art-Teacher & A.I. collab???

I'm feeling like a lunatic getting so mad about this because no one around me seems to understand how we are collectively CHOOSING to get more stupid.

Istg kids in the future gotta ask A.I. to help them with their homework because all their parents did was shut their brain off.
